On Pompeii and Impermanence

Ammonite
The objects of my affection, including a 65-240 million year old ammonite from Madagascar.

It’s a constant visual to remind me of the truth of impermanence (Ammonoidea went extinct with the dinosaurs), and the need to make the most of each day.

Ironically named by Pliny the Elder of Pompeii.
